If you want to know about Xbox 360 console repair, read on…
My buddy was in the midst of a game of “Rock Band 2” when it all of a sudden froze. Though his machine had never done this before he knew what it was. It had happened to a few friends but my buddy had been lucky, until now that is… Known as the ‘red ring of death’ it can mean trouble for your gaming system. Here are a few ideas to consider when trying to save yourself from experiencing the ‘red ring of death’.
1.) Check the heat around your unit. The xbox 360 does produce a lot of heat which can lead to red ring of death problems. Especially if your unit is housed in an entertainment center, you will want to be sure that there is proper ventilation and do not stack other items such as your DVD player or VCR on top of the console or underneath it.
2.) If your console does experience the red ring of death try these tips before sending it out for repairs. Shut the power off and let it sit and cool for a while. Unplug any extras you have attached to the unit and let it sit a bit. Try plugging in minimal attachments just so it should work and turn the system back on.
Hopefully this will clear up the problem because if you do end up having to send it for repairs you will be gameless for a month or more and that is of course, no fun!
And remember, Microsoft isn’t shipping you the “coffin” anymore, so you have to locate a shipping container on your own. No fun.
